Case studies of exemplary projects and programs are highlighted, relating green building to affordable housing, job creation, providing stimulus for local economies, addressing homelessness needs, rebuilding efforts following natural disasters, as well as skills development for the local workforce. In addition, there are case studies of government initiatives that involve the promotion of green building principles or the integration of such principles into regulation.
