THE LOGO
The Building Green campaign is one of the signature endeavors of the Philippine Green Building Council (PHILGBC). Each event pertaining to BG is designed to promote and educate the public on building designs, products, and services; to showcase advances in green technologies; and to encourage the different sectors of the building industry to participate in the Council’s chosen advocacy.
The logo features a leaf bordering the background elements. This symbolizes green and ecologically responsive building, as promoted by the PHILGBC. Also, if studied in general, the logo itself is shaped like half of a serrate leaf.
The ascending bars stand for the continuous transformation and transcendence that is showcased in the Building Green campaign, especially during its annual conferences. It also symbolizes the Council’s tagline: “Together we will transform the market.”
Inherent to the bars is the hybrid icon of a high rise building and a residential unit as a symbol of the building sector.
The colors for the Building Green logo --- red, yellow, and blue --- are lifted from the colors of the Philippine flag.
